My God…your God
It bemuses me as to how all the religions who have a deity they worship of the world (including historical) don’t get it, even now that our thought is further evolved (in some anyway). They each claim their God is greatest of all.
Yahweh, Allah, God, The Great Spirit, Chukwu, Zeus and I could go on and on. Each religion whether monotheistic, polytheistic, triadic or having many worshiped deities, they all have one thing in common, their God. There is always a head God, one in charge and that God, for lack of a better description, is the same person across all these different religions. Utilizing holy texts, they all describe the same happenings in the history of the world. It would be a coincidence of phenomenal improbability that these incidents were not the exact same one describing the same entity.
Just for case in point, I do believe in a creator of the world and everything in it. I also believe that he did, throughout the history of the world they created, get ticked off at humanities arrogance. (Our arrogance will be a future blog).
So, to keep this short, there is not a religious God that is better than the other since they are all the same entity. This means man can check this off their list of things to fight over. Maybe one day we can get this list to be what it needs to be, nothing and no reason to fight.
This is how God wanted us to live, not fighting, but loving and taking care of one another while we are here.
