Time is one of those things we never seem to have enough of. Whether it is the amount of it we are given to be here on earth, the amount we spend with loved ones, discovering new places, learning new things or taking care of our homestead.
When we are each at work we (myself included) complain about how long the day is and, especially on nice days, how we would rather be doing something else. It is unfortunate that we have to work but on the flip side it is something we each have to do to be able to have the items we do from homes to clothes. If everyone stopped working for a company we would have to do all the tasks ourselves which is how it used to be done in history. This was really no better as sometimes that took far longer than our 8-12 hour day. When you look at it this way you may be able to appreciate the time you have off more.
So when your time off does roll around, be it the weekend or times during the week, don’t spend it on mundane tasks you normally do but go out and have an adventure or experience that you would not be able to do after your workday.
All the other normal tasks are there but those can be fit in after work in small increments. If you have to stop at the grocery store every other day, so be it, your food items will be fresher. Everything does not have to be done in bulk periods of time. Spend 30 minutes on cleaning each day and by the end of the week it is done. This leaves you time for other things like reading, writing or art.
Enjoy your time here.
