Yesterday my daughter and I were out shopping for some items at the Ardmore when we found a BBQ joint to have lunch at.
Wilson’s Secret Sauce is an award winning BBQ joint located on Township Line Road.
We ordered the pulled pork and the brisket cheesesteak along with their sour cream and chive tots. The clear winner of the two sandwiches is definitely the pulled pork sandwich. The pork, cooked to perfection was still juicy and tender. Paired with their honey sauce it created a filling masterpiece. The brisket was a slight bit overdone but still marvelously delicious and it also paired nicely with the honey barbeque sauce. The tots were good but way overpriced for the amount you received. They were unique however as they were more of a fried mashed potato than actual shredded like normal tots.
The overall bill was also a bit shocking as well due to being over $60 for what you see and a pint container of beans which I did as a takeaway. While I know that prices are high for everyone, certain menu items were a bit much for what you get. Stick to the sandwiches only without additional cost sides and you will be ok on value for your money.
I would have to give Wilson’s a two thumbs up (one for Em and one for me) for their food.
