When planning a day trip I have at least one to two destinations in mind. This is mostly to have at least an endpoint where I can see something for the experience. Along the way my plans may change as I come across other adventures. For me, nothing is written in stone as that is not adventurous.
Serendipity is one of my favorite words for a reason. I believe you cannot truly live if your life is totally planned.
As stated in another blog, my favorite word is serendipity.This is one reason I make no hard core plans. I pick a direction or destination and then whatever comes along is just part of the days adventure. Even if this is just driving around for the day in an area. There is always something to see.
So every day it is possible, get outside and go somewhere. Travel alone or with friends, either way you are getting out. You have no guarantee in how long you will live or what will happen in your life so go have an adventure!
Life is a journey, enjoy the ride.
